Balboa is one beautiful live room with a high wood ceiling, an iso booth for the loud stuff, and a bathroom wired to become a second iso if needed. The control room shares a window with the band, so nobody is talking through a headphone mix all day.
It's a working room in Glassell Park — street parking, a kitchen, and a back patio for when the take isn't happening. Day rates, not hourly meters. Load in at ten, be recording by eleven.
